•  Xueqin Dong
    Chairman of the Board
    Dr. Xueqin Dong has rich practical experience and extensive knowledge and expertise in the fields of automotive engineering and automotive safety.  He served in various management and engineering roles at domestic automotive companies such as Jiangsu Xingchi Electric Power, Jiangsu Yixing Vehicles, Yijue Automobile, Jiangling Automobile, and the Automobile Design and Research Institute of Shanghai Tongji University.  Dong has also participated in multiple technology R & D projects related to small urban EVs, safety technologies, and EV standard technologies.  Dong has published 11 papers on automobile and electric vehicle engineering technology, and owns 18 utility model patents, 2 invention patents and 1 appearance design patent.  Dong received a Doctoral degree in Vehicle Engineering from Shanghai Tongji University.
  •  Xiaoming Hu
    Director
    Mr. Xiaoming Hu is one of the pioneers of the electric vehicle industry in China, with a track record of innovation in electrified vehicles dating back to the 1980s.  Over the years, Hu was personally awarded 4 invention patents and 7 utility model patents.  Hu joined Kandi in June 2007 as Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of the Board.  Prior to Kandi, Hu served as Chief Scientist in the WX Pure Electric Vehicle Development Project.  For the first two decades of his career, Hu served in senior roles at Yongkang Instrument Factory, Yongkang Mini Car Factory, Yongkang Vehicle Company, Wan Xiang Electric Vehicle Development Center and Wan Xiang Battery Company.  
  •  Lin Wang
    Director
    Ms. Lin Wang is a Director and Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer.  Having detailed knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, Wang is responsible for the preparation of financial statements and SEC filings.  Before joining Kandi, Wang served as a Fund Accountant at State Street Technology (Zhejiang) Company, and has financial management experience in other U.S.-listed companies.  Wang earned her Bachelor Degree in Finance from Zhejiang Gongshang University in 2011, and her Master Degree in Accounting from Hofstra University in 2014. 
  •  Yi  Lin
    Director (Independent)
    With extensive experience in automotive engineering and multi-body system dynamics research, Mr. Yi Lin is an award-winning industry leader, including designations such as “Expert of China’s Machinery Industry” in 1995 and “China Automobile Industry Outstanding Young Science Talent” in 1998.  In addition to his Director role at Kandi since May 2017, Lin has served in senior roles in academic and industrial organizations.  During the period of 2007 to 2015, he served as a deputy chief engineer at Beijing Automotive Group Co., Ltd., as an executive director of Beijing Automotive New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd., and as the executive vice president of Beijing Automotive Research Institute.  Prior to that, he was a part-time professor at Beijing University of Technology, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Institute of Electrical Engineering at China Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and Hunan University. He was appointed as the dean of Automotive Engineering at Jilin University of Technology in 1996 and remained in that position until 2000.  Lin received his Bachelor of Science degree, Master of Science degree and Doctoral degree in Automotive Engineering from Jilin University of Technology.  He is a member of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
  •  Jerry Lewin
    Director (Independent)
    Mr. Jerry Lewin was appointed as a Director in November 2010.  He is employed by Hyatt Hotel Corporation as a Senior Vice President of Field Operations and a member of the Management Committee.  He supervises a variety of functions including finance, sales and marketing, public relations, customer service, engineering, and human resources.  Before Hyatt, Lewin served in various management capacities for several hotel companies in San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas.  Lewin is active in the leadership of several trade and non-profit groups, such as the New York City Hotel Association, the New York Law Enforcement Foundation, and the NY State Troopers PBA Signal 30 Fund.  Lewin is also a Director of EFT Biotech Holdings.  Lewin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and completed the Executive Development Program at J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
  •  Henry Yu

    Mr. Henry Yu was appointed as a Director on July 1, 2011.  Yu currently is Managing Director & Regional Manager of Global Financial Institutions (Asia) for Fifth Third Bank.  Yu has a long history of leadership in the U.S. and Asia at several global financial institutions, including East West Bank, Shanghai Bosun Capital Advisors, Standard Chartered Bank, SunTrust Bank, Comerica Bank, and Bank of America.  Yu is actively involved in the leadership of many associations, such as the National Association of Chinese-Americans and the Federation of Overseas Chinese.  Yu is currently a member of the Foundation Board Trustees of Georgia Perimeter College, board member of Georgia State University’s China Task Force, and member of the Asian Studies Board of the Kennesaw State University.  Yu received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Michigan in 1978 and his MBA in Finance from the University of Detroit in 1980.
  •  Liming Chen
    Director (Independent)
    Mr. Liming Chen was appointed as a Director May 1, 2012. Chen currently serves as an advisor to AA Wind & Solar Energy Development Group, LLC.  From February 2009 to October 2010, Chen participated in a joint venture with Geely Automobile [Chief] designer Qiu Youmin to develop super mini three seat EVs.  From June 2008 to July 2009, he helped to develop a Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery with Shanghai Yuankai Group.  Chen twice served as a professor of Electrical Engineering at Zhejiang University, from 1960 to 1981 and again from 1983 to 1997.  Chen was also a visiting scholar in the Electrical Engineering Department at Columbia University in New York City from 1981 to 1983. Chen earned a Bachelor’s degree from Southeast University in Jiangsu, China in 1960.
