Xueqin Dong
Chairman of the BoardDr. Dong has served as a director of the Company since December 2021 and was elected Chairman of the Board in October 2024. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President from January 2023 to October 2024. Mr. Dong brings extensive leadership and technical experience in the automotive industry, having held senior positions at Jiangsu Xingchi Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Yixing Vehicles Co., Ltd., Yijue Automobile (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and the Automobile Design and Research Institute of Shanghai Tongji University, and starting his career as an R&D engineer at Jiangling Automobile Co., Ltd.
He has led multiple national and regional R&D projects in electric vehicle engineering, including vehicle and parts development, safety technologies, and standards. He has published 11 papers and holds 18 utility model patents, two invention patents, and one design patent.
Dr. Dong holds a Doctorate in Vehicle Engineering from Shanghai Tongji University.

Xiaoming Hu
DirectorMr. Hu previously served as the Company’s Chairman of the Board and became Chief Executive Officer and President on January 9, 2023. He resigned as Chairman on October 6, 2024 and remains a director of the Board.
Mr. Hu has extensive experience in the automotive and electric vehicle industries. From October 2003 to April 2005, he served as Project Manager (Chief Scientist) for the WX Pure Electric Vehicle Development Important Project under China’s State 863 Plan. From October 1984 to March 2003, he held various senior roles, including Factory Director of Yongkang Instrument Factory and Yongkang Mini Car Factory, Chairman and General Manager of Yongkang Vehicle Company, and General Manager of Wan Xiang Electric Vehicle Developing Center and Wan Xiang Battery Company.
He has contributed to the Company’s intellectual property, personally holding four invention patents and seven utility model patents, which he transferred to the Company in fiscal year 2012.

Lin Wang
DirectorMs. Wang has served as a director of the Company since December 2019 and has been Chief Financial Officer Assistant since June 2015. She is responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and for the Company’s SEC filings, including Annual Reports on Form 10-K and Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q.
Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Wang worked as a Fund Accountant at State Street Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. She has extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, financial management experience in U.S.-listed companies, and strong communication and coordination skills.
Ms. Wang holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance from Zhejiang Gongshang University and a Master’s degree in accounting from Hofstra University.

Yi Lin
Independent DirectorMr. Lin has served as a director of Kandi since May 2017. He brings extensive experience in automotive engineering and multi-body system dynamics, with a career spanning academia and industry. He has received numerous national science and technology awards, was granted Special Government Allowances by the State Council in 1992, named an “Expert of China’s Machinery Industry” in 1995, and elected to the “Outstanding Young Science Talents in China’s Automobile Industry” in 1998.
From 2007 to 2015, Mr. Lin served as Deputy Chief Engineer at Beijing Automotive Group Co., Ltd., Executive Director of Beijing Automotive New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd., and Executive Vice President of Beijing Automotive Research Institute. Earlier, he held academic positions as parttime professor at Beijing University of Technology, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Institute of Electrical Engineering at China Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Hunan University. He also served as Dean of Automotive Engineering at Jilin University of Technology from 1996 to 2000.

Jerry Lewin
Independent DirectorMr. Lewin has served as a director of the Company since November 2010. He is Senior Vice President of Field Profitability Globally at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, leading initiatives to enhance operational performance across Hyatt’s global portfolio. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Field Operations, managing Hyatt’s hotels across North America.
Mr. Lewin has been with Hyatt since 1987 and serves on the company’s Managing Committee. He also sits on the board of the New York City Hotel Association and serves as President of both the New York Law Enforcement Foundation and the NY State Troopers PBA Signal 30 Fund.
Mr. Lewin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and completed the Executive Development Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Henry Yu
Independent DirectorMr. Yu has served as a director of the Company since July 2011. He is Executive Director at Asian Investors Consortium and Senior Advisor to ChinaPlus Capital Ltd., focusing on U.S.–China business.
A seasoned banker with over 34 years of domestic and international experience, Mr. Yu served as Managing Director of Global Financial Institutions at Fifth Third Bank from 2012 to 2015, and previously held senior roles at Bank of America (Hong Kong), Comerica Bank, National City Bank, SunTrust Bank, Standard Chartered Bank China, and East West Bank. He has expertise in investment banking, commercial and international lending, treasury management, and global supply chain management.
Mr. Yu is active in promoting U.S.–China and emerging markets business and serves on advisory boards and leadership roles at Kennesaw State University, Georgia State University, and the National Association of Chinese-Americans.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Detroit.

Liming Chen
Independent DirectorMr. Chen has served as a director of the Company since May 2012. He currently serves as an advisor to AA Wind & Solar Energy Development Group, LLC.
Mr. Chen has extensive experience in electrical engineering and the automotive industry. From 2009 to 2010, he participated in a joint venture with Mr. Qiu Youmin, former designer of Geely Automobile Co., Ltd., assisting in the development of super mini three-seat pure electric vehicles. He also contributed to the development of lithium iron phosphate batteries with Shanghai Yuankai Group from 2008 to 2009.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Chen served as a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Zhejiang University from 1960 to 1997 and as a visiting scholar at Columbia University from 1981 to 1983.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Southeast University, Jiangsu, China.
